Sub-Zero Refrigerator Storage Drawer Removal and Installation

Answer:
All drawers can be fully accessed or removed with the door opening restricted to 90°.
- Depending on shelf configuration, shelves above the drawers and/or door shelves may need to be removed first to provide clearance to remove drawers.
- The drawer dividers can be removed for cleaning. Refer to How to Remove Sub-Zero Drawer Dividers for more information.
- The drawer frame around the clear plastic cannot be removed for cleaning.

To install a storage drawer:
- Push the drawer slides in.
- Align the drawer with the drawer slides and push back until it stops.
- Press down on the front of the drawer to engage the slides.
French Door Models
To remove a storage drawer:
- If the door is limited to a 90-degree opening, remove the non-adjustable door shelves first.
- Remove the lower drawer first, then remove the upper drawer.
- Remove the glass shelf above the upper drawer, as the drawer will need to be angled in order to come out of the unit.
- Open the drawer until it stops, then lift the front of the drawer up slightly off of the drawer slide while continuing to pull the assembly out of the compartment.
- Push the drawer slides back manually to provide sufficient clearance for removal.
To install a storage drawer:
- Push the drawer slides in.
- Align the drawer with the drawer slides and push back until it stops.
- If there is not enough clearance to install the drawer from the top, install drawer by coming in from the underside of the doors. Remove door shelves if needed to use this installation method.
- Press down on the front of the drawer to engage the slides.
