To replace the front and rear seals:
- Pull or slide the old seals off and replace with the new seals.
- Apply a bead of silicone along the edge of the seal.

Front and rear seals are included with a new crisper glass assembly. Crisper glass assembly installation varies depending on model number:
- 500 Series
- The smooth side is on the bottom.
- The pegs on the bottom of the crisper glass assembly face downwards and insert into the notches on the crisper drawer slides.
- 600 Series
- The smooth side is on the top.
- The pegs on the bottom of the crisper glass assembly face downwards and insert into the notches on the crisper supports.
- Classic (BI) Series
- The smooth side is on the top.
- The crisper glass assembly has notches on the bottom that are inserted over the pegs sticking out of the left and right side wall of the unit.
- To remove crisper glass cover for BI-36/42/48, the one between the drawers: Lift the cover and pull it straight out. Or, gently press down on bottom retainer tabs on either side while pulling cover straight out.
- IC-27 Series
- The smooth side is on the top.
- The crisper glass assembly has notches on the bottom that are inserted over the pegs sticking out of the left and right side wall of the unit.
