Answer:

Classic (BI), Designer (IT, IC, ID), 700, or 600 Series

The crisper drawer is one assembly and cannot be taken apart for cleaning.

To clean hard to remove residue from the crisper drawer assembly:

1. Pull the crisper drawer out of the unit.
   • Classic Series Crisper Shelf Removal
   • Designer (IT, ID) Drawer Removal
   • 700 Series Removable Crisper Cover
2. Allow the crisper drawer to warm to room temperature.
3. Soak the crisper drawer in mild soap, bleach, and water mixture over night to loosen any residue.
4. Use an old tooth brush or a can of compressed air to remove any remaining residue.

If the residue cannot be removed, consider replacing the crisper drawer; contact a Factory Certified Parts Distributor to order parts.

500, 200/300, or Older Series

The crisper drawer front can be removed from the crisper drawer.

• Tabs on the front edge of the crisper drawer basket are inserted in the back of the crisper drawer front.
• Pull the crisper drawer front away and off of the crisper drawer basket with even and firm force.

CAUTION:

• Extra care and caution should be taken to prevent damage to the crisper drawer components.
• Depending on the age and model of the unit, replacement parts may no longer be available if components are damaged.
