Answer:
Pure Air Icon Flashing
The Pure Air icon flashes when the air cartridge needs to be replaced.
- This occurs after 365 days of use while the unit is on and the air filter is on.
- This occurs earlier if the bulb inside the cartridge burns out.
No harm will be done to the Sub-Zero unit if the air filter is not replaced or not used.

Replace Air Filter
If the Pure Air icon flashes intermittently, refer to the product-specific instructions to replace the filter and to stop the Pure Air icon flashing:

Reset Air Filter
Resetting the filter varies by product. Refer to the instructions below for product-specific reset instructions:
- Classic Series (CL) Reset Air Filter
- Classic Series (BI) Reset Air Filter
- PRO Series Reset Air Filter
- Designer Series (DET, DEC) Reset Water Filter
- Designer Series (IT, IC, ID) Reset Air Filter
Reset Filter Life in Mobile App
- The air filter cannot be reset through the mobile app.
- Filter life must first be reset on the appliance according to instructions above.
