Answer:
Air Filter Information
An alert appears on the control panel when the air purification cartridge is ready to be replaced.
- Each air purification cartridge lasts approximately one year.
- There is no harm to the Sub-Zero unit if the air filter is not replaced or not used.

Replace Air Filter
To remove the air purification cartridge:
- Find the air filter access door cover on the inside back wall of the refrigerator. The door is usually between the top two shelves depending on shelf placement. It may be necessary to remove a shelf if it is positioned in front of the access door.
- To access the air purification cartridge, slide the cover to the left. The cartridge holder will be inside.
- Pull the holder open, then remove the cartridge by pulling it up and out of the socket.
To install the new cartridge:
- Remove the new cartridge from packaging and insert with connector pointing downward.
- Close the holder and the air purifier door.
- After replacement, touch "Refresh" to reset the cartridge life cycle.
