1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

1/2 teaspoon  garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 large egg, beaten

1/2 cup club soda

Vegetables cut into bite-size pieces (broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini)

Fish, cut into 1" x 2" (25 x 51) pieces, dried well

Oil for deep-frying

Preparation Method

  1. Fill the fryer basin with 5 quarts (4.7 L) oil.
  2. Preheat the Wolf fryer module to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Combine all dry ingredients.
  4. Add egg and club soda and beat until smooth.
  5. Add additional flour if desired for thicker batter.
  6. Using fork or slotted spoon, dip vegetables and fish into the batter.
  7. Carefully place pieces into preheated oil.
  8. Deep-fry 2–3 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  10. Repeat as needed with remaining vegetables and fish.
