M Series Oven Door Will Not Close
Topics:
- M Series Oven door does not shut
- M Series Wall Oven door not closing
- Lever in M Series door hinge preventing the door from closing
Cause:
- Door hinge lock in the locked position
- Broken hinge
Answer:
The M Series Oven doors have a hinge lock, shown below, that is used for removing the oven door.
- The hinge lock is a lever that is rotated towards the door to engage the lock.
- Each hinge has a lock.
- If the hinge lock moves to the locked position while the door is open, the door will not close.
- Rotate the hinge lock toward the oven cavity to release and shut the door.
- If these steps do not resolve the issue, no further customer troubleshooting advice is available. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.
