Answer:
Showroom kit, part number 810110, includes a transformer to step a regular 120 V outlet up to 240 V.
- This kit works on E or M Series Ovens to set them up for Showroom Mode by stepping up the 120 V outlet to 240 V.
- M Series Ovens have the option to operate in Showroom Mode stepped up to use 240 V with this kit or stepped down to use 120 V.
- See also, M Series Oven Showroom Mode.
- E Series Ovens must be stepped up to 240 V. Showroom Mode will not work on 120 V.
- With this kit, put the ovens into Showroom Mode immediately so elements do not turn on and the small transformer does not overload.
- In 2011, E Series Wall Ovens changed to return to Showroom Mode if they were in Showroom Mode and a power outage occurred.
