Set the Probe
Note that the following instructions are for Legacy products. For current E Series Ovens, refer to Wolf E Series Oven Temperature Probe Use.
- Touch desired cooking mode.
- Probe cannot be used with Broil or Convection Broil.
- Touch ENTER to select preset temperature or use number pads to change temperature, then touch ENTER.
- Insert probe into thickest area of the food.
- When making bread, cook for approximately 10 minutes before inserting probe.
- When preheat is complete, use a pot holder to lift probe receptacle cover, then insert probe.
- Touch TEMP PROBE.
- Use number pads to select temperature, then touch ENTER.
- Carving Temp appears on the display. This is the internal temperature.
- The probe temperature appears in the display until it reaches the setpoint.
- An audible chime indicates internal temperature has reached probe setpoint.
- Remove, then reinsert probe to verify internal temperature.

Troubleshooting
If the probe is not working:
- Confirm proper mode is in use. Not all modes can use a temperature probe.
- Try removing and reinserting the probe. The probe should click into place.
- Be sure that the probe is fully seated in the probe receptacle before adjusting the probe temperature setting.
- If any debris is noticeable in the receptacle, use a compressed air can to help remove it.

About the Probe
The temperature probe measures the internal temperature of food without opening the oven door.
- The probe is designed to be used while the oven is cooking. Make sure that the probe does not directly touch the oven wall or door.
- Calculating a total cooking time by weight is no longer necessary using this feature.
