Topics:

- Change temperature up or down
- Dashes appear in knob
- Not heating
- --- on knob
- - - - on knob
Answer:
Setting oven temperature is different depending on the serial number. To find the Legacy Dual Fuel Range serial number, open the oven door and find the product rating label on the bottom of the control panel, at the far right, just above the oven door.
To select an oven temperature on Legacy Dual Fuel Ranges prior to serial number 17159076:
- Turn the bezel to a desired cooking mode and a predetermined setpoint appears.
- Either select the predetermined setpoint or change it by turning the oven control knob to the right or left.
- After a few seconds, the unit begins to heat.
- Once the set temperature is selected, the knob shows "Lo" until the unit reaches 150°F. The display alternates between actual temperature and set temperature until it reaches set temperature.
Starting with the following serial numbers, or when the control board is replaced on units with serial numbers above 16,000,000, the control works differently.
Model | Starting with Serial Number |
DF30 | 17159076 |
DF36 | 17159778 |
DF48 | 17159800 |
DF60 | 17159878 |
Starting with the serial numbers above, use these instructions to set the oven temperature:
- Once a cooking mode is selected, the knob displays “- -" until the knob is rotated to the right or left.
- The display shows the predetermined setpoints by mode and allows adjustments (ex. Bake will automatically set at 350°F). This functions as a two-step on feature.
- An acceptance tone sounds to signify the cooking mode started.
- Once the set temperature is selected, the knob shows "Lo" until the unit reaches 150°F. The display alternates between actual temperature and set temperature until it reaches set temperature.
