- Make sure that the oven is wiped out after each use:
- Leave the oven door partially open and allow interior to cool until it is just warm.
- Use a damp, soft cloth with a few drops of mild detergent to clean any spills or food residue.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- For plumbed models, make sure the drain tube filter has been cleaned recently.
- Wash the drain tube filter by hand with soap and water.
- If an odor is still present:
- Turn the oven on Steam at 175°F for 30 minutes to loosen food soil.
- If desired, steam sliced lemons to help remove smells.
- Allow the cavity to cool until just warm to the touch.
- Wipe out cavity with a soft cloth.
- Turn the oven on Steam at 175°F for 30 minutes to loosen food soil.
- Running a descale on the oven can also help eliminate residual odors.

To avoid oven odors:
- When possible, wait to season food until after cooking. This prevents seasonings from permeating the oven cavity.
- When using the perforated tray to steam, place a solid tray underneath to catch drips.
