Below are tips for cleaning various Wolf Convection Steam Oven (CSO) components. For information on cleaning before first use, refer to:
Proper cleaning and descaling help prevent and remove food odors.
- The oven cavity will turn gold over time; this is normal.
- If moisture is not removed from the floor after steam cooking, some corrosion may occur in the cavity; this is normal.
After Each Use
- Wait for oven to cool until just warm to the touch.
- Use a soft cloth to wipe up spills and food debris.
- Empty the water tank and allow it to dry.
- Do not place the water tank in the dishwasher.
- Water marks in the water tank and oven cavity will be removed during descaling.

Easy-Off Fume Free Oven Cleaner can be used when the oven is cold and off.
- Spray walls and bottom, but spray onto a cloth for the back wall and ceiling; if sprayed directly on the back wall or ceiling, the oven is safe to use, but may have an odor the first time the oven is used after cleaning.
- Close the door, turn off the light, and let it sit for 2 hours.
- Wipe out the interior with damp paper towels.
- Turn the oven to Steam Mode at 210° for 10 - 20 min.
- Brown water will likely pool and is a normal result of residue that was missed from the paper towels.
