The water hardness setting can be changed through the user settings on a Legacy Convection Steam Oven (CSO) with knob control. For models with a touch control, refer to Legacy Convection Steam Oven (Touch Control) User Settings.

For instructions on testing the water hardness, including thresholds for each hardness level, refer to Convection Steam Oven Water Test Strips.

  1. With the oven off, press OK (control knob).
  2. Turn the knob to User Settings.
  3. Press OK.
  4. Turn the knob until Water Hardness appears.
  5. Press OK.
  6. Turn the knob to the appropriate hardness level.
  7. Press OK.
