Door Rack or Ball-Bearing Rack?
Wolf makes two kinds of full-extension oven racks.
The full-extension door rack:
- Can only be placed in the lowest rack position.
- Pulls out of the unit onto a track on the oven door.
- Has an up curve on the front handle, unlike the standard rack.
If the full-extension rack does not work in the lowest rack position, and instead fits into other rack positions, then it is a full-extension ball-bearing rack. Refer instead to Full-Extension Ball-Bearing Rack Information.
Full-Extension Door Rack Information
Full-extension door racks pull out onto a track on the oven door.
- This feature helps ease inserting, removing, and basting large or heavy foods.
- The full-extension door rack (and any regular rack of 18" wide or larger) must support 11.3 kg or 25 lb.
- Wolf oven racks are made of nickel plated steel wire.
Full-extension racks are only available on the Dual Fuel Range, L Series Oven, and E Series Oven.
- 1 full-extension door rack comes standard with each 30" or 36" oven cavity of Dual Fuel Ranges, L Series Ovens, and E Series Wall Ovens.
- There is no full-extension door rack available for 18" ovens.
Remove all oven racks and glides for the self-clean cycle, as self-clean may cause discoloration, distortion, squeaking/screeching of glides and permanent damage.
