Use Tips
Black porcelain burner pans or tops may stain and discolor with normal use.
- Do not allow food with a high sugar or acid content (for example, milk, tomatoes, fruit juices) to stay on any porcelain enamel surface. They can cause a permanent dull spot.
- Never wipe a warm or hot porcelain surface with a damp cloth or sponge. This may cause chipping or crazing (hairline cracks).
- Wolf does not recommend polishing the porcelain tops as the intense heat combined with polish ingredients may damage the finish.
- If cleaning tips above do not work, spots or baked-on spills are likely permanent.
- Refer to the Wolf Cleaning Guide for further cleaning recommendations.
Remove porcelain tops
- Dual Fuel Range, GR Gas Range, and Sealed Burner Rangetop black porcelain tops cannot be removed for cleaning underneath.
- R Series Gas Range and RT Series Rangetop black porcelain tops can be removed. Refer to Open Burner Gas Range and Gas Rangetop Burner Pan Removal for more information and instructions.
Burner Pan Replacement
- If pans or pan extrusions are scratched, there is no repair. Replacement is the only option.
- If cleaning tips below do not work, spots or baked-on spills are likely permanent. Replacing the pans is one option to restore them to their original state.
- R Gas Range and RT Gas Rangetop burner pans are replaceable.
