Troubleshooting:

To make a caffelatte, macchiato, or cappuccino with the EC24 Coffee System:

1. Remove the water spout (if installed).
2. Adjust the froth regulator on the milk container to the desired amount.
   • The froth regulator is part of the milk container lid.
   • Slide the silver adjuster in and out so it lines up with the desired setting:
     • Caffelatte for no froth
     • Latte Macchiato for some froth
     • Cappuccino for most froth
3. Fill and insert milk container.
4. Place a cup under the coffee spout, then verify the milk spout is positioned over the cup.
5. Make sure the beans container is filled before starting the program.
   • The unit will show "Fill Beans" during the program if the container is empty. No coffee will be added to the beverage.
   • Pre-Ground coffee can be used if desired.
6. Press the Latte Macchiato/Caffelatte/Frothed Milk button (far right-hand button on the control panel).
7. Press the up or down arrows (same buttons as Hot Water and Select Taste) to scroll to select desired beverage.
8. Press the Enter key (same button as Select Volume).
9. Verify the unit is producing steam.

Once the cycle is complete:

1. Place a cup under the milk spout. Press and hold CLEAN on the milk container until the bar is complete.
2. Remove milk container and place in refrigerator.

If the unit does not froth the milk, verify the head of the pitcher is not blocked.
