Sub-Zero Ice Cube Stuck in Ice Maker

Cause:
- Ice maker mold heater failure
- Stuck cube
Troubleshooting:
- Turn power off.
- Try to remove cubes.
- Defrost if needed.
- For electronic control panel units, it is possible to disable the freezer section only:
- Classic (BI) Manual Compartment Disable Instructions
- 700 Series Manual Compartment Disable Instructions
- 600 Series units:
- Starting with serial number 1810000:
- Prior to serial number 1810000:
- It is not possible to disable a single section on 600 Series prior to serial number 1810000. For additional information, refer to 600 Series Disable Single Section Prior to Serial Number 1810000.
- For dial control units, turn the control down past 1 to the "off" position.
- Refer to Turn Off Dial Control Refrigerator or Freezer for more information.
- For electronic control panel units, it is possible to disable the freezer section only:
- Reset unit.
- Make sure ice maker is on.
- If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, service is necessary to expertly diagnose and repair the product. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.
