To clean a Sub-Zero freezer:

1. Turn the unit off at the control panel. Refer to the product Use and Care Guide for further information.
   • It is possible to disable the freezer or refrigerator section alone in Sub-Zero units with an electronic control panel.
   • Refer to Turn Off One Section of a Sub-Zero Refrigerator for model-specific instructions.
2. Allow 4-6 hours for the freezer to defrost or allow components removed from freezer to warm to room temperature.
3. Use a mild detergent, baking soda paste, and water with a soft cloth.
4. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. Turn unit on at the control panel to resume normal operation. 

• Do not use vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or other alcohol-based cleaners on any interior surface.
• Do not submerge or pour hot water over cold shelves or baskets.
• Avoid getting water on lights and control display.
• Anti-bacterial wipes are okay to use.
• Wire shelves are not dishwasher safe.
• Clean wire shelves with soap and water. Dry well before reinstallation.
