- High Usage Mode description
- How to exit High Usage Mode
Answer:
Classic (BI) and Designer (IT, IC) units can be placed into High Usage Mode through the Sub-Zero Group Owner's App. This mode provides increased performance for High Usage situations.
Mode Description:
- It is not possible to set this mode using the unit control panel. It can only be entered from the Sub-Zero Owner's App.
- High Usage Mode exits automatically after 8 hours.
- Energy consumption may be increased while in this mode.
- Press the Power key to exit the mode at any time.
When High Usage Mode is enabled, the following will occur:
- The smart grid icon will flash and a "p" will appear in the LCD display.
- Freezer zones that do not contain an ice maker will be set to -5°F.
- All freezer zones are commanded to have an evaporation fan speed of at least medium.
- All refrigerator zones are set to 35°F.
- All refrigerator zones are commanded to have an evaporation fan speed of high when the respective zone is cooling on high or low.
- For example: A unit with 2 refrigerator zones, 1 freezer zone, and 1 wine zone. This requirement would iterate over the 2 refrigerator zones.
- If the 1st refrigerator zone was cooling, it's evaporator fan will be set to high. If the zone was idle, it will be left undisturbed.
- If the 2nd refrigerator zone was cooling, it's evaporator fan will be set to high. If the zone was idle, it will be left undisturbed.
- This requirement will work for "n" zones, as long as the zone itself is a refrigerator type.
- For example: A unit with 2 refrigerator zones, 1 freezer zone, and 1 wine zone. This requirement would iterate over the 2 refrigerator zones.
- If an ice maker is present, it is enabled and set to Max Ice Mode.
