Installing Appliances Next to Each Other
Topics:
- Refrigerator installed next to a cooking product
- Cove Dishwasher or any other brand of appliance installed next to a Wolf or Sub-Zero
- Is there too much heat transfer from a Wolf cooking product to be installed directly next to a Sub-Zero or Cove unit?
- Minimum distance required between a refrigerator or dishwasher and a wall oven or other cooking product
- Can a Sub-Zero be installed under a cooktop; can a Wolf be installed above a refrigerator or Cove dishwasher?
- Stack a cooking product above a Sub-Zero or Cove
Answer:
Requirements:
All Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove products are independently insulated and tested and can be installed next to each other.
- As long as product specifications are met, the units can be installed as close as possible.
- Minimum trim clearances, hinge swing detail, panel thicknesses, and handle interferences must be accounted for in the application installation. Door stop packages may also need to be applied to prevent product damage.
- Refer to the product Installation Guide for specifications.
Best Practices:
- When installing a Sub-Zero next to a Wolf product, a 2" gap is a good rule of thumb to keep condensation from forming between the units.
- When installing a Sub-Zero or Cove product next to or underneath a Wolf product, there is no minimum clearance required.
- If installing Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Cove products next to other brands of appliances, always check with the alternate brand manufacturer.
