Answer:
It is possible to hear a pulsing, buzzing, or clicking noise from the Induction Cooktop or Induction Range when used on a low-power setting and not on a higher power setting.
- This is due to the magnetic fields in use and is normal.
- Noises may vary when using different pots or pans.
- Do not heat an empty pan. The noises will be louder, as the unit has a boil dry feature and will increase the power to try and sense the food.
- The clicking noise is not always heard on high due to the magnetic fields in use on the product.
- The product does not beep when a pan is removed from a burner that is in use.
- The burner controls will blink, and then turn off.
- There is no audible signal for the auto shut-off.
- The operational noises will also increase with power increases to burners and may be different with various pots and pans used on the cooking surface.
- Depending on the materials used in different pans, and different designs on the bottom of pans, no two pans will sound the same on the cooktop.
- Service will not be able to stop or correct this normal, operational noise.
- Units on display at a showroom will not make this noise, as burner operation is disabled when in a dealer showroom.
