Bagels with lox and dill-scallion cream cheese

Ingredients
2 Everything bagels, sliced in half
Dill-scallion cream cheese:
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill
3 scallions, green parts only, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon salt
½ tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
8 ounces lox (thinly sliced smoked salmon)
Preparation Method
Make dill-scallion cream cheese:
- Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until well blended.
- If desired, use a food processor to combine ingredients.
Prepare bagel
- Toast bagel halves to medium browning.
- Spread each bagel half with 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese.
- Top with 2 slices of lox.
- Add optional toppings, as desired.
