Careening over peaks like the iconic mountain-side home in Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, this home too seems fit for the silver screen. The star? A moody, intimate kitchen that juxtaposes the expansive panoramas of the dining room. It’s the definition of glamour, and an escape from the drudgery of everyday life in the form of a modern ski-lodgey dream.

INTIMATE YET OPEN

Charcoal-painted shiplap envelops the kitchen and creates an intimate atmosphere. In the dining room opposite, the ceiling lifts and opens to the expansive landscape beyond the panoramic Italian steel windows.

SUBTLE APPLIANCE INTEGRATION

Selected specifically for their modern yet elegant design, many Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances are tucked seamlessly behind corners, as is the case with the Sub-Zero Refrigerator and Wolf Double Oven. Meanwhile, the Wolf Downdraft Ventilation System behind the Wolf Rangetop lowers when not in use, preserving the windows’ aesthetic.

HARMONY IN FORM AND FUNCTION

Sequestered behind richly patinaed steel doors with porthole windows, a Sub-Zero Wine Storage unit and Freezer find their place in large pantries designed for ultra-functional food prep and storage. It’s just one of the ways this kitchen balances beauty with everyday convenience.

SOPHISTICATED FINISHES

Exclusively using steel, glass, shiplap, and concrete, the finishes create a romantic and luxurious atmosphere that is both modern and timeless.
