Standard and Convection Microwave Audible Signal

  1. For an audible sound that has become too quiet, reset the unit's power at the electrical supply circuit breaker and retest.

Answer:

The audible signal for Standard and Convection Microwaves can be turned on and off.

  • The audible signal will chime with every touch and upon cook time and timer completion.
  • The volume of the signal cannot be adjusted.

Models MW24 and MWC24

To eliminate signal:

  1. Touch Help.
  2. Touch 2.
  3. Touch Stop/Clear. "SOUND OFF" will appear on the control panel display.

To restore signal:

  1. Touch Help.
  2. Touch 2.
  3. Touch Start/Quick On. "SOUND ON" will appear on the control panel display.

Models MS24 and MC24

To eliminate signal:

  1. Touch Settings.
  2. Touch 2.
  3. Touch Stop/Clear. "SOUND OFF" will appear on the control panel display.

To restore signal:

  1. Touch Settings.
  2. Touch 2.
  3. Touch Start/Quick On. "SOUND ON" will appear on the control panel display.
