In 2006, the dimensions for the opening to install an MWC24 with a trim kit changed. The old and new cutout sizes are listed below. If replacing an MWC24 microwave or trim kit surrounding it, the old opening size will work with the new microwave kit as well as the old.

*Note that the microwave itself is 24 3/4" wide. The 30" and 36" measurements refer to the finished width of the installation with trim.
