Answer:
The majority of cooking in the Convection Microwave will be completed with the standard turntable in the microwave mode only. The accessory tray and racks, which come standard with the MWC24, and MC24, have the following uses:
Popcorn and Meat Tray
- For microwave use only.
- Place on the turntable and use the ribbed side for cooking meat (bacon) and either side for cooking popcorn.
- The popcorn and meat tray is dishwasher safe.
- Failure to use the popcorn and meat tray will likely result in popcorn not popping.
- MC24 Convection Microwaves do not use the popcorn tray. The MC24 has a different tray, eliminating the need for a popcorn/meat tray.

Low Rack
- For use with convection, broiling, or high mix. Place the low rack on the turntable and use for roasting or broiling to allow juices to drain away from the food.
- Do not use for microwave-only cooking.
High Rack
- Primarily used for baking.
- For use with convection and low mix. This rack is placed on the turntable for two-level cooking, such as layer cakes, muffins, etc.
- Do not use for microwave-only cooking.
Notes
- When using the microwave oven, the turntable must be in place. Never restrict movement of the turntable.
- Do not substitute similar types of racks for these specially designed racks; doing so may cause permanent damage to the unit, which may not be covered by the unit's warranty.
- Always place food in a dish or a pan, even if cooking with convection only. The turntable is not designed to be cooked on directly.
- Refer to the Convection Microwave Oven Cookbook for more cooking tips.
- The Convection Microwave does not have heating elements on the top or bottom of the cavity. The heat is generated from the side.
