Answer:
During self-clean, the oven is heated to an extremely high temperature to burn off food soil.
- Remove all oven racks and rack guides. See also, Remove Oven Racks and Rack Guides.
- The oven door will lock and stay locked until self-clean is complete and oven temperature has cooled below 575°F (300°C).
- The duration of the self-clean cycle can be adjusted for the level of cooking residue.
- The duration of the cleaning cycle is 1-1/2 hours for light soil and 2 hours for heavy soil.
- The complete cycle can take up to 5 hours including cool down.
Setting Self-Clean Mode
- Press OK.
- Select Self-Clean and press OK.
- Turn knob to select desired level of cleaning, then press OK.
Setting Delayed Start Self-Clean
- Press OK.
- Select Self-Clean and press OK.
- Turn knob to select desired level of cleaning, then press TIME.
- Turn knob to select desired switch-off time, then press OK.
