Answer:

The minimum operational BTU ratings for the burner on a Multi-Function Cooktop with the new style burner, starting with serial # 16,000,000 are:

  • Natural Gas 2,900 BTU low setting and 22,000 BTU High.
  • L.P. Gas is 6,300 BTU Low setting and 22,000 BTU High.
    • Units prior to serial # 16,000,000 have a 18,000 BTU High rating.
  • The IM15/S is a high output unit and does not have a simmer setting.
