Topics:

  • Slow Roast Mode for Legacy CSO
  • What does the Slow Roast Mode do?

Answer:

The Slow Roast Mode uses gentle convection heat to precisely roast a variety of cuts of meat.

The Slow Roast Mode is entered through the More menu. Note that this mode requires a temperature probe.

  • Slow Roast Sear is indicating cooking steps. The mode should be run to slow roast the meat, and then the meat should be seared after the mode is done.
  • The CSO does not sear the meat.

To start Slow Roast Mode:

  1. Touch More.
  2. Use the arrows to select Slow Roast.
  3. Touch Enter.
  4. Follow the directions on the screen to insert the temperature probe, select a Slow Roast setting, and set completion time.
