Convection Steam Oven Stepper Motor Noise
Topics:
- CSO makes a ratcheting noise when the unit turns on or off
- Clicking noise when the Convection Steam Oven cooking process starts or stops
- CSO ticks at the beginning and end of a program
Answer:
The Convection Steam Oven has a stepper motor and slide assembly that opens and closes throughout the cooking process to allow exhaust to exit the cooking cavity. These parts make noise as they move; this is normal operation.
If the noise is unusual or has changed over time, or performance has been affected, service is necessary to expertly diagnose and repair the product. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.
