Convection Steam Oven Door Gasket

Topics:

  • Convection Steam Oven (CSO) door gasket leaking
  • CSO door gasket torn, how to replace it?
  • Removal of CSO door seal

Troubleshooting:

  1. If the CSO door gasket fails, turn on steam and then open door.
  2. If gasket is leaking, there will be condensation outside of gasket “ring” on lower end. Do not be confused if right after opening the door, water drips down into lower trim, this is normal operation.
  3. Steam can also escape from the top of the unit, including the upper right side of the unit.

Removal:

  1. Open the oven door.
  2. Pull the door seal from the channel around the oven door.

Installation:

  1. Insert the door seal in the channel around the oven door.
  2. Start pushing in the middle on all sides, then push in the middle of those sections, then push in the middle of those sections, etc.

Answer:

The CSO door gasket is easy for anyone to replace. Contact a Factory Certified Parts Distributor to order parts.
