Installation Without a Power Cord
Follow the National Electrical Code, as well as all state, municipal, and local codes.
- Some products, such as Dual Fuel Ranges, are designed to use a hardwire connection, eliminating the need for a power cord.
- Products can use power cords if desired and if local code permits, or the products can be hardwired directly to the electrical supply if local code permits.
- Range and appliance power cords are available at any local hardware store.
The correct voltage, frequency, and amperage must be supplied to the appliance from a dedicated, grounded circuit, which is protected by a properly sized circuit breaker or time delay fuse.
- The proper voltage, frequency, and amperage ratings are listed on the product rating plate. See also, Wolf Serial Tag Locations.
- Refer to the product Installation Guide for further information.
