MC24 and MWC24 E Series Trim Kit Installation Instructions includes a list of components included with the kit.

• If missing, the following screws can be ordered individually:
  • PN 809765 - ​#6-18 x 1". Part is qty 1. Order 6 if needed.
  • PN 6200080 - #8-15 x 1/2" Part is qty 1. Order 2 if needed.

Convection Microwave Trim Kit Notes

• For cabinet cutout opening dimensions for installing a microwave with a trim kit, use Reveal.
• Other than width, the only differences between E and L Series Microwave trim kits are cosmetic. Each style is meant to match up with the trim and finish on the corresponding oven series.
  • The L Series trim is designed to match the L Series Oven for a traditional look.
  • The E Series trim is designed to match the E Series Oven for a contemporary look.
• There is no difference between trim kits for different aged microwaves. For example, a trim kit from 2004 fits a new unit and vice versa.
• Convection Microwave oven trim kits that match E Series Ovens are available in 27" and 30" finished widths.
• The trim kits are for use on models MC24 or MWC24.
• Refer to the E Series Trim Kit Accessory Webpage for product information and pictures.
• Convection Microwave oven trim kits will not fit a Standard Microwave. See Standard Microwave E Series Trim Kit for more information.

Installation Notes

• For cabinet cutout opening dimensions for installing a microwave with a trim kit, use Reveal.
• The foam tape included in the trim kit attaches to the back side of the frame assembly and is compressed between the frame assembly and the face of the cabinetry.
  • The foam tape helps fill gaps and protect cabinetry.
  • If additional foam tape is needed, purchase it locally at any retail, hardware, or home improvement store.
  • The foam tape may not be listed as a component or explained on the instruction sheet.
  • The foam tape kit includes four pieces of foam.
    • Two pieces measure 3/8" x 1" x 27".
    • Two pieces measure 3/8" x 1/2" x 18".
    • The foam tape is not available as a separate part and cannot be purchased from any of our parts distributors.
  • Failure to use the foam tape will not affect unit performance, overall installation, or warranty.
• Polycarbonate pieces are on the underside of the sheet metal in the box.
• Polycarbonate pieces are attached with magnets.
