Burner Grate Material
Topics:
- What are the burner grates made of?
- Porcelain material chipped off from grates
- Burner grate material
Answer:
Burner grates are made of cast iron with a matte black porcelain coated finish. If porcelain chips off, cast iron will be exposed and may rust. If this occurs, new grates may be needed.
- Burner grates may become discolored with normal use. Refer to How to Clean Burner Grates for more information.
- Wolf does not suggest painting burner grates if the finish is worn, faded, or chipped. A new grate is needed.
- Refer to the product Use and Care Guide for further information.
