To Bypass the water filter in a Classic Series CL Model:

1. Remove the water filter cartridge by twisting and pulling it out.
   • If the filter is not installed, the filter function is not in use.
   • In bypass mode, the water supplied to the product is not filtered.
   • Turn off the water filter monitor if not using the water filter. Refer to Classic Series (CL) Reset Water Filter for instructions.
   • The water filter monitor must be turned off and turned on again if a new filter is inserted.
