Answer:

There is no Extended Height Grille or Reduced Height Grille accessory for Classic (CL) Models.

• Overlay models may use an extended grille panel, using the existing grille frame that comes with the unit. Refer to the directions below.
• The extended height grille is not available on Stainless Steel models.
• It is not possible to reduce the height of the grille.

• In flush inset installations, the grille panel can be extended beyond the finished height of 84" by use of a custom panel. 
• Note that there is no sales accessory part for an extended height grille on CL models. The refrigerator grille is not taller, only the decorative grille panel.

• Hinges are provided by the panel maker. Sub-Zero does not provide the hinges for the extended grille panel kit, nor does Sub-Zero specify how to install the hinge hardware.
  • Standard hardware companies include BLUM, Grass, Hepla, and Hafele, among other options available.
  • Heavy-duty hinges that work with both the cabinetry and the extended height grille are needed.
  • Cabinet makers are the best resource to suggest compatible hinges for the specific installation.
• Do not exceed the grille panel weight limit.

Reusing Legacy Classic (BI) Panels

The extended height grille for Legacy Classic (BI) units cannot be used on current Classic (CL) models.

• Existing grilles will not fit on CL models.
