The type of ice in a Sub-Zero varies by product type.
- All undercounter icemakers, except the model 22IM, maker clear, wet ice cubes.
- Clear ice is produced by the continuous melting within the icemakers since the bin is not refrigerated, only insulated.
- In-unit icemakers do not make clear ice.
- Crushed ice is not an option.
