Noise from Compressor Area

Troubleshooting:
It is normal for a Sub-Zero to make a number of noises during operation.
- Banging, buzzing, clicking, rattling, vibration, humming, fan motor noise are all considered normal.
- Noises may be more pronounced in a home with an open concept, or at night.
- If noise is loud, new, louder or more pronounced over time, or unit performance or temperatures have been negatively affected, clean the unit's condenser. Refer to Clean the Condenser or the product Use and Care Guide for further information.
- Make sure noise is not related to fan motor or compressor operation. See also:
