Answer:
The accessory single and dual wide stainless steel kickplates attach to Designer units with magnets.
- Instructions for installing decorative and stainless kickplates can be found in the product Installation Guide.
- Note any kickplate listed below as 4" or 6" accommodates either toe kick height, but the stainless kickplate attachment is 6" high.
- Stainless steel kickplates are provided with stainless steel panel sets. Refer to Designer and Designer Wine Stainless Steel Door Panels for more information.
- For indoor models, a maximum 6" (152) decorative kickplate can be attached to the factory-installed kickplate. The two rows of vented louvers can be covered if the door panel is a minimum 4" (102) from the finished floor. A decorative kickplate cannot be attached to the outdoor model.

36" Wide Kickplates
- The 36" wide stainless steel panel kits ship with a kickplate that is 3-1/2" tall.
- The kickplate for all other kits are 4" tall.
- A 4" kickplate is available for 36" wide units using part number 7042817.
