600 or 700 Series Error Code EC 05 or EC 06

Cause:

  • EC 05: Refrigerator repeatedly read erratic temperatures
  • EC 06: Refrigerator evaporator thermistor read open or shorted for 10+ seconds or repeatedly read erratic temperatures

Troubleshooting:

Answer:

Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair. Share the EC Code and current temperatures when contacting service.
