Answer:
While in Sabbath Mode, the Designer series (DET, DEC) Sub-Zero will disable the ice maker, door alarm, and dispenser.
- The Sabbath screen, shown in step 3, appears on a Sub-Zero control panel to indicate the Sabbath Mode is turned on.
- There is no harm in leaving the unit in Sabbath Mode.
- Sabbath Mode automatically turns off after 74 hours.
- In the event of a power failure, when power returns, the unit will return to this mode.
Sabbath Mode automatically turns on the interior lights at a reduced brightness.
- The lights stay on when the door is closed and cannot be turned off while in Sabbath Mode.
To enter or exit Sabbath Mode on a Designer (DET, DEC) Series product:
- From the appliance Home screen, tap the Settings icon
on the Home screen. The Settings screen appears.
- Tap the right arrow
to move to the Sabbath icon.
- Touch and hold the Sabbath icon
for 3 seconds to turn Sabbath Mode on.
- To turn Sabbath Mode off, touch and hold the Sabbath icon
for 3 seconds.
- When Sabbath Mode is turned off, the Home screen appears.
