700 Series with Service and Ice Flashing

Cause:

  • Water valve solenoid energized too long

Troubleshooting:

If both "SERVICE" and "ICE" are flashing:

  1. Turn the unit off for 10 seconds.
  2. Turn unit back on.
  3. If only "SERVICE" is flashing and "ICE" is solid, see Sub-Zero with "Service" Flashing.
  4. If this recurs frequently, contact Factory Certified Service.
  5. If this recurs after six months or longer, this can be reset following the above steps.
  6. Ice production resumes shortly after this reset.

Refer to Ice Maker Does Not Make Ice for additional ice maker troubleshooting.
