Troubleshooting:

To enter Sabbath mode on a 648PRO Series product:

  1. While power is on, touch the Power button on control panel.
  2. "OFF" appears in the display.
  3. Touch and hold Power for 10 seconds.
  4. Four audible chimes indicate Sabbath mode is on.
  5. To return to normal operating conditions, touch Power twice.

Answer:

While in Sabbath mode, the 648PRO Series Sub-Zero disables the external displays, lights, ice maker, and door alarm.

  • There is no harm in leaving the unit in Sabbath mode.
  • In the event of a power failure, when power returns, the unit will return to this mode.
